This lecture reviews anatomy and physiology of external ear. After that it gives the signs, symptoms and treatment of various external ear infections like otitis externa (acute and chronic), furunculosism, otomycosis, granular myringitis, bullous myringitis, necrotizing external otitis, perichonditis/chondritis, Herpes zoster oticus, erysipelas and radiation induced otitis externa.
